I’m Tammy, an award-winning author, photographer, and recipe-developer. I write timeless print and digital cookbooks that inspire and educate home cooks about the value of baking with fresh, seasonal ingredients. I got my start in the test kitchen of Cook’s Illustrated magazine and PBS’s America’s Test Kitchen. Since then, I’ve written three baking books and published articles for Fine Cooking, Yankee Magazine, and the Boston Globe.

A thoughtful, seasonal approach to home baking

My cookbooks and zines are rooted in the seasons and written for the way we live
today. These recipes honor the flavors many of us grew up with—fruit-forward
desserts, simple cakes, rustic puddings—while embracing a thoughtful,
sustainable approach to baking. I value local ingredients, practical methods,
and the power of food to bring people together.
